I agree with Sarbina below--I've tried this with 20 lbs kettle weights. The strain on my grip was the most noticeable aspect of the exercise. Most trainers say that the dead lift is the best total body exercise. But many people have back issues (like me) and this is just not an option for frequent workouts. This is a great alternative, also working the legs without any stress on knees, hips etc as in squating. Thanks Evan!
