I do one hour of reading (a book here, not the articles I peruse all day. Jumping around keeps the mind unsettled). Then my wife and I watch one of the streaming series we like. The very emotional or exciting ones are not sleep conducive. The just plain old interesting ones are. I am a poor sleeper who comes from a line of poor sleepers so a steady sleep time is important to me. Sleep is the most sensitive barometer of ones emotional state there is. As a psychiatrist I can say that everything we treat, from stress to schizophrenia, is preceded by a change in sleep for the worse. So take care of sleep and pay attention to changes.
