I very much doubt that the king would have concluded that if Jesus were not God he would be the son of God. That concept was unknown until years after Jesus' death and it is an odd conclusion to come to whatever his beliefs were. This is a forgery that has all the beliefs of Christianity centuries after Jesus walked the Earth.
