More power to you, Andrew. When I was in highschool (Catholic highschool) I read the four gospels. There I found no evidence of the messianic Jesus. But much of the moral reformer. He spoke not only of living a morally and spiritually fulfilled life, but of the lack of importance of rite and ritual in this endeavor. It is notable that Mark, the first one to write and the likely most in touch with what actually happened does not mention the resurrection. I find the dying for our sins an incoherent story. The idea that God created us as sinful and then had to die violently to forgive us leaves my head spinning. Why would He do all this when he could snap His fingers and fix it? Or just forgive us and call it a day. Well keep up your work. I look forward to your writings.
