Something that always perplexes me is that Jesus very clearly described the criteria He has to be welcomed into heaven. When he describes the final judgement he asks 'When I was hungry did you give me food?" and related questions. He says nothing about what you believe or what religion, if any, you practice. There are no metaphors, no parables, no difficult to translate language. Nothing could be more straight forward. The way to love God is to love others.
