Thank you, Leah. I enjoyed reading about your journey. I have had a similar journey. Raised in Catholicism and moving towards the East, then back to different Christian denominations. I settled on my own personal eccelecticism at age 62. But then to my surprise some philosophical reading led me back to Buddhism, which I had discovered as a young teen. This is my comfortable home. I am not concerned about heaven vs reincarnation. But the rest seems natural to me and was a revelation when I was very unhappy with my church. Many of us must make this journey. Unfortunately, it is lonely and in cases like mine does not land in a community of fellow believers. That is an important aspectmof fiath in my view. It is one of the many psychological supports that we have mostly lost in our country.
