Thanks for including the part about even modest drinking. For years doctors said 3-4 drinks per day was fine physically, even beneficial. That research was deeply flawed. Now the same groups have changed their thinking and say that any amount of alcohol is detrimental. This is true physically and mentally. People with mental disorders feel like it is punishment when I advise them not to drink. It is not. It is just a fact about their condition and a way to optimize their health and resilience.
