There's a lot to this observation, Benya. Peope in the medical community (of which I am a member) still push this myth that "moderate" drinking is good for you (meaning 1-3 drinks daily). The data is extremely biased as they do not include people who have ever had problem drinking or medical complications of alcohol. Plus they do not follow the moderate drinkers to see what has become of them years later. lastly, people with any psychiatric problems are excluded. These are all the people who cannot drink this much. And some of the people who presently can drink this much will develop problems later. Alcohol should not be a large part of anyone's life.
