Very interesting. Thank you. I know that Einstein proved with special relativity that time was not simply a measure we impose on the universe (because it is malleable as shown in time dilation). I just have a hard time understanding how all the cause and effect relationships that occur could be slowed by approaching the speed of light. Time dilation suggests, for example, that every chemical reaction on the space ship leaving earth at high speeds slows to the exact same extent. Or do I have this all wrong (as I suspect)?
